Removing rear cargo tie downs

First post from a long time reader. Finally bought a 2020 JLU last week.

I’ve looked on the forum and more generally online, but either it’s rarely mentioned or my Google-fu is weak…

I’ve gotten the lid off the rear storage tray, now looking for instructions on removing the two carpeted strips to the right and left of the tray itself.

Any help would be appreciated

Pop the black cover off the hooks and remove that bolt.

What Ricky said above. The plastic covers under the steel rings is hinged and flips open to reveal the anchor bolts.
