Windshield tie downs. Where are they!?

Ok, I looked high and low in my JLUR and I can't find them...... Hmmmm maybe they don't exist....
I asked my salesmen, he's going to "look into it"
Does anyone know if these exist?
I mean, I can make my own, but if they are out there from, Jeep, I want em!

That sucks. My YJ came not only with windshield tie down straps - but straps to store the roll bars on the floor too.

As I've lamented elsewhere, I really hope I can find a clean way to restore footman loops to the hood and windshield. Hood should be trivial, windshield maybe not so much.

You could in previous generations. The JL attachment is more specialized.

Just confirmed that they’re on extended backorder from mopar, unsure why as they aren’t coming with the JLs

Talked to dealer, he claims that Jeep is supposed to "send them out later" . We were just texting each other, but i'll actually talk to him tomorrow. Not sure if he means, send out to all that have taken delivery and didn't get them or what..

Any word on these things? I tried to order them from an online Mopar outfit and they refunded my money, saying there are none to be had, not even in the Mopar system. I also read in the new Jeep brochure that they are supposed to come with the JL. So where are they? They look like a very simple part, so I'm not sure what the hold-up might be. @JeepCares can you shed light on the status of these straps?
