I think you are right, and also for appearance. I can't imagine it has any additional function or anything more technical or sophisticated than that.

Let's see a pic! I may take mine off this weekend.

Ok, so I was curious and some dudes here don't take pics. So I resorted to self help for me and others who want to see what it looks like (my Jeep is on order so I can't really go out the driveway and take it off).

So, uh, I would look myself but my Jeep is on order. So I can't. Unless I imagine I have a Jeep and pretend to do it, or make a reminder to myself to remember this thread in a month or two, and then remove the cover because people that did it, and made a internet post about doing it, and talked about how good it looked, and could take a pic, but did not. But I may forget about this post by then, so a pic now would really be helpful. But that's okay. You can just call me lazy instead.
