I'm assuming the previous owner was a Denver Bronco's fan. Otherwise, I can't explain why on a Hydro-Blue Sahara they would have covered both the shifter knob and the transfer case knob with bright orange plastic covers. :)

They are stuck on pretty well, so I'm guessing they are attached with 3M tape or something similar. Anyone tried removing these before? My first instinct is a heat gun on low and a lot of patience but if anyone has any other tricks please let me know.

Some dental floss on a sewing needle if you can slip it behind the plastic at a spot where the adhesive isnt. Then grab the ends of the floss and saw the tape from the side when its warmed up.
