My 2019 Wrangler Sport-S came with the cold weather package and remote start. Recently when I press the remote start button this happens: The horn beeps and the lights flash once, but the vehicle does not start. A couple of times this winter everything worked as it should. Wheel and seat heaters came on, engine started, doors locked and everything was hunky dory.
I have the Genesis dual battery setup, and the vehicle is on a NOCO 10 "treacle" charger so the batteries are full.
Outdoor temperatures have ranged from above freezing to well below zero f so the only thing I can possibly suspect is that if this system is temperature sensitive the vehicle doesn't really know hot/cold it is. The reason I am saying this is that often when I leave my garage, the outdoor temperature readings take a few minutes to actually reflect how cold the ambient temps are.
I don't know the parameters for this system functioning.
