Remote Start Heating

in Southern California, i will never be able to have those heated seats come on with remote start. thats really lame. I cant imagine a safety issue that would be related to ambient outside temp and seats getting too hot ( to the point of it being a safety issue).

I've found that if I leave the A/C or heat on certain settings this seems to be what is on when I use remote start. I can't say for certain if it has always worked that way, but it does seem to be repeatable for the most part. At least that's what I've noticed. .

Just getting cold enough here in WI to use the remote start and I also find it very odd that there's no way to modify the settings for this. I should be able to set both seats to the heat setting I want, set the steering wheel to heat or not, set the climate temp I expect it to be at when I enter, etc.

Not sure if you have a Tazer JL Mini or plan to install one on your JL ...... but the Tazer JL does have this "Live Feature" .... enable passenger side heat on remote start .

I can't get my 22 to default to 'front defroster, high' when I remote start.
My 19 does at remote start and so does my car. Car also turns on rear defroster.
Tried a few different steps like shutting it down with front defroster on, etc.
It defaults to some other setting, not even sure what it is.
what's the trick?

Maybe they tied it into the minimal temp setting for the heated seats. 41° i think ?.

Either way, all those settings should be configurable.
