Just got an update from the dealership, the Jeep was assembled with a faulty Transmission solenoid .. That was throwing the error code and was causing the remote start to disengage as it was not registering that the vehicle was in park.

Glad you got your problem sorted.

Couple things. Auto Start and Remote start are two different things.

The list given in a previous reply is for auto Start/Stop. The reason I know this is that the Remote start will NOT be disabled bu the first item "Driver's Seat belt being unbuckled"

Remote start has it's own list of things that can disable it.
Hood being open, Door being open/off, Low Fuel... etc....

No, we literally picked it up yesterday and the check engine light came on then when we remote started, the dealer put the scanner on and said there were no codes that the check engine cleared

then this morning the first attempt to remote start, the jeep started then shut down and now the check engine stays o. With that service error
I am having the same issue

According to the dealership it was a solenoid in the transmission / Iā€™ve had it back and put a few hundred miles on it and there arenā€™t any issues

I took it to the dealer and they said it was a code that caused it. I haven't tried again as I don't want to be disappointed again. šŸ™ƒ

I would try it over and over so if there is a problem itā€™s sorted out ASAP.

Really glad to hear this. I have a 2-door Rubicon on order and really hate to hear a brand new one having problems. But, the problem you experienced was determined and now resolved.
