Just got an update from the dealership, the Jeep was assembled with a faulty Transmission solenoid .. That was throwing the error code and was causing the remote start to disengage as it was not registering that the vehicle was in park.

Glad you got your problem sorted.

Couple things. Auto Start and Remote start are two different things.

The list given in a previous reply is for auto Start/Stop. The reason I know this is that the Remote start will NOT be disabled bu the first item "Driver's Seat belt being unbuckled"

Remote start has it's own list of things that can disable it.
Hood being open, Door being open/off, Low Fuel... etc....

No, we literally picked it up yesterday and the check engine light came on then when we remote started, the dealer put the scanner on and said there were no codes that the check engine cleared

then this morning the first attempt to remote start, the jeep started then shut down and now the check engine stays o. With that service error
I am having the same issue

According to the dealership it was a solenoid in the transmission / I’ve had it back and put a few hundred miles on it and there aren’t any issues

I took it to the dealer and they said it was a code that caused it. I haven't tried again as I don't want to be disappointed again. ?

I would try it over and over so if there is a problem it’s sorted out ASAP.

Really glad to hear this. I have a 2-door Rubicon on order and really hate to hear a brand new one having problems. But, the problem you experienced was determined and now resolved.

Good Morning everyone!

We picked up our new Rubicon yesterday and being that the weather decided to be 3 degrees this morning my wife hit remote start ... the jeep turned on, then 5 seconds later shut off. The dash says auto start disabled and it throws the check engine light ... any ideas ?
I've got a 24 Rubi with the Aux battery disconnected.
I have been getting the "Aux Switches temporarily unavailable" for a while (they eventually come on after driving a while). Now I'm also getting the "Remote Start disabled".
It was working until it got below freezing and now remote start is not working. I was about to get a new battery when I saw the post form "Imaginethat119" that it was a "solenoid in the transmission". Now I'm wondering if I should take it back to the dealer?

This morning I tried starting remotely and no go. I started it normally and the Aux Switches were also disabled. I started it, ran it for a few minutes until the Aux Switches worked, then it started remotely. So I'm leaning to the battery which is 2.5 years since purchase.

bad battery and aux battery will cause the AUX Switches error 99% of the time and if your battery is low the remote start will do exactly that behaviour.
Im very happy with Optima Yellow Top H7

Yeah, I'm leaning toward it being the battery. The trans solenoid sounds fishy.
I had good results with Optima a while back, then had a clunker after the change in ownership.
I have been reluctant to go back and have had good reliability with DieHard.
I'll look at Optima again....

they did have a bad go for a few years and now they are back in form, beyond stoked with the performance of this one
