Fronts are black, having blue in the rear would kill my ocd. I’ll probably hate my self for starting to go with black kings in the future, but I’ll post about that later.Might have to break out the spray paint ?
So, I was watching a youtube video about hemi conversions (while grunting approvingly), and Americas Most Wanted 4x4 includes a track bar brace that also lets you install a JK steering box in your JL with their hemi conversion kits. They don't list it separately on their website and it requires drilling a hole in the frame, but as far as I've heard the JK steering boxes were rock solid....hmmmm.
You can make them black yourself and help protect them from the elements.Fronts are black, having blue in the rear would kill my ocd. I’ll probably hate my self for starting to go with black kings in the future, but I’ll post about that later.
NR4x4 said I could order them...probably year wait ? oh well home with back pain so ordering parts continues.
Mine did that too.@Headbarcode so I went on a little overnighter last weekend and I heard some big bagging noise underneath in the woops felt like the sway bar was hitting my inner fenders... well here you go

I haven't had that type of rubbing with mine. I did have some annoying rattles that I was able to shut up by slightly bending and flexing the liners and their mounting brackets. Maybe that inadvertently shifted them out of the path of the sway bar.@Headbarcode so I went on a little overnighter last weekend and I heard some big bagging noise underneath in the woops felt like the sway bar was hitting my inner fenders... well here you go

I know everyone likes the aluminum tube because of the memory but if you go that route find some copper anti seize. I ran them in my Lj and the galvanic corrosion between the two metals was absolutely terrible. The threads literally turned into powder after a few years and one of the ends pulled out. That’s why I went with the Rusty’s steel system on mine. He makes the ends for both the companies you listed and the full steel system was only $550.I haven't had that type of rubbing with mine. I do get the lightest rubbing between the inner corner of the sidewall/tread and the liner at full stuff. The weather has stunted me from the longer and more involving things on my to-do list.
I still have to switch out the synergy control arms for the Metalcloaks and install the Rock Jock bushing set.
After that, I can determine exactly how much of the pinch seam needs to be trimmed to clear the rear tires. I know that only the corner needs to go with 37's, but the 38's require the whole rear half of the wheelwell arch to be opened up. That's the simple part. What's going to soak up some time, is reworking the AAL rear liners and their mounts to follow the larger opening. After that, I'll finally be able to reach the full flex potential and make final clearance adjustments.
Also, I just received the Reid knuckles this past Monday, so they're now making another pile along with the Dynatrac ball joints and rcv axles with outer tube seals. I'm also debating between Doetsch Offroad and RPM aluminum steering linkages, to further upgrade from the SteerSmarts setup.
I really should lock myself out of my bank account, until I can beat down this pile. Lol!
Great point about the copper antiseize! I keep a jar of both types, along with a slew of other permatec products in a box next to my growing pile of parts.I know everyone likes the aluminum tube because of the memory but if you go that route find some copper anti seize. All my parts came in but have to wait for some down time to install. Yeah the passenger side inner fender really took a beating. Probably going to end up shortening the links as much as possible and change direction of upper bolt etc for more clearance. Might end up going anti rock bars front and rear, when I order the rear bumps might just add those to the cart. Yeah why not it’s just more money.I haven't had that type of rubbing with mine.
