Regear Jack Stand Points

This might seem like a silly post but when regearing my axle is it fine to place the jack stands under the axle tubes? I don't know if there will be any flex from the weight as I set up my gears. My jack stands aren't quite tall enough to get under the frame after the lift.

I'm going to put the tires and 4x4's under the frame for added safety like always.

The closer you are to shock mounts and spring perches the less additional stress you are adding to the axle.
