Resetting Transmission shift points

Old thread but I wanted to thank you for your post. I bought a 2020 Rubicon that had the tire size wrong and the grears shift smoothly but what happens for me is that they tend to jump up to 5,6,7 gears at fairly low speeds (usually at 6 or 7 at 40MPH, is this normal?) . Doesn't seem right. I just reset tire size but thinking I'll do this reset to see if it balances things out a little.

Piggy backing off the old thread too. In JSCAN it says only reset if the tranny's been overhauled? Is there any reason, or should it be fine to do so?

If you skip that, you'll be fine it just resets TAP cells basically.

What is the procedure to reset. When I hit go on Jscan nothing happens?

Just used jcan for grar ratio and tires.

Wanted to do a relearn of my tcm and wanted to confirm settings.

Tcm quicklearn long or short? I was thinking long.

6 gear relearn is just getting unto 6th and holding it there for 20 secs correct? Is this automatic after starting the learn process?

Is it just easier to disconnect battery for 30 mins and call it a day?
