Red 4xe w/blue badging?

I'm with @woody8476 on this. I actually LIKE the blue accents (look at the Rubicon script below) and it looks great against the red, with the exception of the tow hooks. Why did they not use that metallic (electric?) blue that they have on the badges. You should do a separate thread when you figure out which colour you are going to use on those hooks. I'd be interested in that.

I’ve read in other threads it is the “Surf Blue” you want. Have not tried it myself yet…

I hated all the baby blue stuff on my Rubi 4xe so changed it all. It can be a little time-consuming but totally worth the effort if you want to change it all out. Just pick whatever color you want and roll with it.

I just added orange tow hooks off a Mojave yesterday.

Prior to seeing it in person, I hated the blue accents and had plans to change it all. The metallic blue grew on me more than I thought it would, but still wasn't a fan of the baby blue they used on the tow hooks. I swapped my original plastic bumper for a used steel bumper with red tow hooks, and painted my beauty rings on the wheels to match the metallic blue. I think it turned out pretty good, and definitely different from all of the other red Rubicons you see on the road which is a big plus.

I used a Bahama Blue from DupliColor. Linked below from Orielly's. It is really dang close.

Yeah, you can't beat that for a match. It looks right near perfect. Good enough for government work!

Firecracker red is hands down my favorite. Absolutely no regrets. A year in and I still look back at the car and love that I went with it. It gets more love and compliments than any car I’ve ever had. I already know what color my next jeep will be when I get another.

I loved red but couldn’t find one for the life of me (dealers said wasn’t popular so they didn’t order any) and was too impatient to wait for the order time. Wife or kids didn’t like the red/blue combo much but really liked Sting-Gray and blue so we went with that one. I think the blue accents make the grey less boring and there’s a bit of a “Sting-Gray Edition” subculture I’m seeing.
I did buy a red 4xe sticker to put on the hood to fill in where the body color showed through, just to add a dash of red.

Did you remove the 4xe off the tailgate? Have Sarge Green and don't like the blue. About to have it matte wrapped and probably going with the 392 bronze accents as they look more appropriate on green. Trying to decide what to do with the 4xe on the tailgate. Maybe just spray it black or color the "e"

I'm going to plastidip it black. That's the last bit of blue other than my seat stitching. If I'm feeling squirrelly I might try to paint the blue outline some kind of orange later. Not sure my hand is steady enough to want to try it without pulling it off first! ?
