XR brakes are not Rubicon brakes. They are Gladiator brakes, which include larger rear rotors.
With AnnDee4444's table, we now know that those are bigger and thicker rear rotors and bigger brake pistons in the rear, not just larger diameter rotors, compared to the Rubicon non-XR.

This is quite helpful in defining the Performance Brakes option on the Xtreme Recon. I see that the Xtreme Recon includes the thicker front rotors (all trim levels above Sport) and bigger, thicker rear rotors and bigger rear piston diamater (over the Rubicon base). Those are some significant brake upgrades.
I'd still like to see the 392 Wrangler at least, with a Brembo four piston and slotted rotors (helps to keep rotor clear of muck) front and rear. Then we would know for sure if our longish stopping distance is brake limited, or tire / lifted Jeep = high center of gravity limited. I suspect the latter and I suspect the Jeep brake engineers would state the same.

These should be the ones you are looking for:

Heavy-duty Brake Kit - Mopar (77072434)

If this is the stock Rubicon package then the XR, diesel, 4xE and 392 are heavier duty than this setup.

I'm looking into the rear brake swap when I have to replace rotors anyways on my JLR. Rotors, calipers and pads are a given. I'd assume we'd have to grab the bracket for the Gladiator as well to mount them?

I’ve been looking at the same. Apparently, that’s all you need. Caliper brackets, calipers, rotors and pads.

Also of note, all the rear calipers are single piston.

But not all the same size. There are different size JL brake pistons and rotors for the rear. You have Rubicon bigger than Sport, then XR bigger than Rubicon, and then diesel and then 392. If you are going to 35s think about the XR rear calipers and rotors. The engineers have sized them for 35s and 5900-6100 GVWR. Balance front to rear is important so I like using factory guidance for rear brakes versus wheel/tire size and GVWR, if staying with Mopar brakes. The thread "Recon Xtreme Brakes" was enlightening for me.

This is from a friend of ours inside Jeep. He sent this to me spring of last year, so there may be changes since then.

First the easy one...

JT
- One brake system, all the same

Then the complex one...

JL
- Smaller brakes: Sport/Sport S Gas vehicles including special editions based on Sport/Sport S (not Willys)
- Larger brakes: Sahara Gas, Rubicon Gas, Willys Gas, all Diesels
- Larger yet (same as JT): All 4xes, all 392s, Rubicons with Xtreme Recon, Sahara High Altitudes gas and diesel

To complicate it, the "larger yet ones" on JL have two types. Normal and FNC. FNC is a special coating on rotors to prevent corrosion. The 4xes have FNC.

Also all international JL/JT in all sizes have FNC

The JT and JL large/larger yet have same front rotors/calipers.

The JT and JL larger yet have larger rear rotors/calipers.

Confused yet? Lol

All I know is of all the Mopar vehicles I have owned, the XR seems to have the best bite when it comes to braking. The rest of my vehicles are just downright scary if in a panic stop. My worst was the 2018 Ram 2500 Diesel. You had to plan ahead before your foot went on the brake pedal!

Any idea what is involved with upgrading standard Rubicon brakes to 392 brakes?

Out of curiosity, I wonder if CAD counts as "international"..... ??

But going off what your friends says, if you have a Rubicon (without XR because you got a MT), you just have to upgrade the rear breaks to have a similar setup to the JT/XR breaks.....

I'll ask about the CAD as international thing. Usually a week or so before we get answers.

Yes, a standard Rubi has the same size front brakes, but slightly smaller rear brakes than the JT/XR/392 etc.

I have two with the XR package and neither of them "stop great". Im surprised to see you said it has the best bite. I drove a loaner Gladiator and it would almost throw you through the windshield. Both of the Wranglers the pedal is soft. If I pump them it will stop great. No leaks and already had them bled to be sure no air so figure its just the way it is.
