My husband backed into a garbage can and cracked the passenger side taillight. Factory replacement is $770 for one side!

Does anybody have any recommendations? It's a 2022 Willy's with LED and blind spot monitoring.

Thank you!

I would ebay an OEM.

The BSM and "bracket" are reused with aftermarket, so you'll probably see them missing. You can switch over both from your broken one as long as they are still in one piece.

BSM rules out most of the aftermarket. Even in the Oracles that keep them, they don't work as well.
Didnt think about that. Thats why I have zero safety-tech on my current Jeep and none on my factory order. I learned how to drive without all the extra stuff, don’t need it. It also makes mods and replacements much easier/cost effective.

It really stinks that you have to buy the entire assembly. I am going to call around to some junk yards too.

I cracked mine in the first two months of owning it. the LED strip was exposed on top for the next two years (took that long to get to the point where I wanted to order a new one (mount finally failed after four plastic welds) and then back-ordered by Quadratech for 9 months-ish).

The light never failed, just would stay in position without a mount, hence if getting new mount might as well finally order the light as well :)

So if it's just aestedic, you can run with the cracked one for quite awhile if you need to!

just my $0.02!

Cheers,
