I did. I love them. Look great ..
I agree, thanks for the images.

I have the Rocklander Rack which can be flipped back to lower the softtop, unfortunately the BSM sensors are in the way - to me, that's the main reason why I started looking for aftermarket tail lights with a lowered profile.

On Mike's images, the Morimotos still seem to stand out to the side a bit more than the tank cap. Do you think, I will be able to flip back my roofrack over these tail lights?

No , the fuel lid sticks out further.

thanks a lot, that's what I needed to know - I'll need to get the Morimotos shipped overseas, i.e. I cannot return them, if I am unhappy with them. Now, I'm sure, they'll make me happy. So, I'm going to order them now.

Sales are typically at holidays, Presidents Day next month if you’re not in a hurry. An ~ 3 week wait for the Black Friday sale saved me ~$80. Cheapskate advice free 😉

I found these pictures
Jeep Wrangler JL For Those That Installed Oracle Flush-Mount Tail Lights. . . rearLightWiring

It looks as if the connector was the same, but the negative and turn signal wires needed to be swapped to other pins. Will this lead to warnings like "turn signal light bulb damaged"?

Will a Converter solve the problem?

I am looking at purchasing the Morimoto XB LED Tail Lights because of the Rocklander causing a gap and not sitting flush, identical to the issue posted here, but I will have to pay a fair bit in shipping to Alaska so I wanted to do a bit of digging before making the purchase. If anyone has this installation with the Blind Spot Monitoring proximity sensor, does the steel bar from the cage affect the proximity sensor, or is it far enough forward to avoid the sensor giving a false reading of a vehicle in the lanes?

FYI anyone looking at these. The bulbs are not replaceable. Once a light goes out you need a $105 replacement module. I’ll be replacing mine ASAP something else.

That will be the case for pretty much any LED housing that isn't just a halogen housing with a bulb stuck in it.

Thats much cheaper than a single unit from Oracle. And both of those failed. And LEDs in general are not easily serviceable due to design and manufacturing.

I just converted my Oracles from US to EU - the US harness doesn’t have a wire to transmi the turn signal separately from the rear light. I tapped into he front turn signal for each side using posi-taps, and ran wires to the rear light wells, where I used more posis to splice the turn signal from the front into the rear chase lights (they’re orange).

Talking about the color; do you know if you need to have orange turn signals wherever you are? And do the Morimoto have any orange LED modules?

US requires turn signals to be either red or amber.
Yes, and in Spain (where taling my US Jeep to) they have to be orange and separate from the tail light.

I think OP is in Germany, so independently of whether he is importing a Jeep from the US or adapting an EU Jeep to come to the US, he will have to mess with the harness/wiring.
