Well, been loving my Flush Mount LED Tail lights up until now. Love how low profile they are (ripped my OEM tail light off in a squeeze). The lane change warning radars didn't work great afterwards but that was never a feature I counted on so no big deal.

Well, a year and a half into ownership, the right side blinker started going on the fritz and a couple of months later, went out (blinker/brake light). The running LED still worked. Filed a claim, eventually got a response that I could buy a brand new set at $515 minus 15% or pay $258 for a single replacement. Wasn't happy about that level of (non) support but opted for the single replacement. After tax and shipping came up to $300. I paid $384 (out the door shipped) with a coupon in Jan 2024 but prices have increased $100 since then. Sure hope the other one doesn't go out, otherwise I'll be almost $1000 in for tail lights!

Anyway, something to keep in mind when considering these lights.

Hard to see, but brake light on the right light now working

Just curious, were you using their resistors, or did you reprogram the Jeep to LED. Always curious if those resistors are doing their job effectively.

15% off is less than their typical Black Friday discount if I am remembering right. I have those tail lights and like them but that is disappointing to hear.

Mine was LED from the factory so if I'm remembering correctly they didn't need a reprogram.

Yeah - I've gotta admit I was pretty disappointed. If another one goes out I'll be going with another solution.

I want these and was waiting on a Black Friday sale… With this level of support maybe I won’t. Sorry yours failed.

I had the oracle tail lights and one went out, I did like them until the one stopped working. Switched to Morimoto for the BSM, will see how long the replacements last. One of the headlights halo rings (Oculus Bi-LED) also went out, needed to send in for either replacement or fix. Of course sending in a headlight means it is not on the vehicle so a temp needs to be sourced. The headlight part is awesome, sometimes it does overpower the auto dimming function from so much reflection on high. I do wonder about the quality on Oracle lights, for the price they should be rock solid.

Yeah, he's pretty active and seems like good people. If he was able to help out that would be awesome but good customer service shouldn't be because "I know a guy".
Agreed. I’m not out to disparage them, but any company should spend as much trying to keep a customer as they do trying to get a new customer.

The same thing happened to me. After just under a year, the pax side light went wonky. I sent a video to Oracle, and they replaced it. A year later, the driver's side went out. So, I replaced them with Morimoto lights. They offer a five-year warranty, which was a big selling point. When it came to build quality, it was also a no-brainer. The Morimoto stuff was just better built.

Holy Moses, the price has really gone up. I paid $340.00 in Nov. 2021, and that was more than enough.

The right Oracle tail light failed in Sept. 2024 (specifically, the parking light illumination). While out of warranty, it was replaced free as a one-time exception; I just had to pay the associated shipping cost. So, fair credit where it's due.

I do like the flush-mount lights and I'm glad that they both continue to work. That said, if or when another failure occurs, I'll reinstall the OEM tail lights and call it a day.

Nobody likes dealing with a lighting failure, and nobody should feel like they’re getting the runaround when something goes wrong. I’m not here to argue opinions or gloss over anyone’s experience — if a light failed, that’s frustrating, period. And if the support you got felt less than helpful, that’s something we need to own and fix.

If anyone here still has an unresolved issue (past or present), shoot me a DM with your name/email/order number and I’ll get it in front of the right people internally. I can’t rewrite what already happened, but I can make sure you’re not left hanging going forward.

I appreciate everyone being candid here, even when it’s not flattering. It genuinely helps us improve the product and the support behind it!

I’ve always wanted a set of flush mounted lights but longevity seems a problem. A survey would be interesting on who has and have not had a problem with their flush mounted lights seems the stock frog eye tail lights are better but I must say the flush tail lights look a lot better. To bad stellantis doesn’t do a flush mounted light

You said you didn't care much about the BSM. This was my solution without BSM
I really like the look and replacement lamps are cheap.

I painted them body color. The Rugged Ridge are $300 but like I said replacement
are $20 on Amazon or for a 3 year warranty Grote lights are around $60 per.
