I saw this video. Really good and objective video. It would be really cool to see the same test with some c-load tires. I watched several other of this guyās videos too. All pretty objective.
I drove my 2018 two door JL for 3 years in Germany. On the autobahn I routinely ran it at 80 (130kph). A handful of time I found the need to go as fast as 90. Granted the autobahn is pretty smooth in most places. It handled surprisingly well. I have driven my two door in the USA for extended...
I upgraded to the new appā¦ my new Jeep transferred over just fine. My older Jeep didnāt transfer over and it turns out the agent you have to speak with is with SiriusXMā¦ Itās a cash grab. They try multiple tactics and transfers you around several times to get you to sign up for Uconnect service...
I have this posted over on the gladiator forums too, but no bites.
This is a Pace Edwards Full Metal Jacket Tonneau cover by Leer: Fits all years of Jeep Gladiator. It works great and it is quite strong. I am selling because I sold my JT for another Wrangler. I paid $1,900 for it new in July...
Check out leatherseats.com. You can get heated and ventilated seats with their covers. I did their console cover myself and it was a breeze. I will do the leather from them someday.
At elevation it is nice.. I like the crawl speed for sure. At 7,000 feet first gear is useless with the stock tires hahaā¦. I am probably going with 37s also.
So I placed my order first week of April and it has displayed as āOrderedā ever since the website came up. Last night (06 June) it updated and I finally got a date in the āScheduledā fieldā¦ 02 June. Wow. Just wow.
I ordered a Rubi with 4.88s back in early April. Fingers crossed it will be builtā¦ and that my order is among the fortunate few that are built sometime soon hahaā¦
Yeah.. I read on Magnusonās page the other day that they went to the GPEC5 ECU mid-2021 model year due to shortages of the previous GPEC2Aā¦ I am thinking that when (hopefully not āifā) the new ECU is cracked, Livernois will probably use the same programming unit.
Same question hereā¦ I am selling my 2018 and getting a 2022. I would like to deal with Livernois again, but it would be nice if I didnāt have to spend so much. Maybe itās time to really spend some greenback and go for that superchargerā¦ again haha
This. I agree with the original poster that 1st is too low in the manual for street driving. I am hoping 4.88 with 35ās will allow me to skip 1st most of the time, and make 5th (and probably 6th) more important. There is a rarely a situation where 5th seems appropriate to gain or maintain speed.
I agree that 5th gear is about useless in my two door Rubi. I find myself skipping to 6th on the regular. I just ordered a new Jeep (4-door this time) with 4.88 gears and I plan to put 35ās on almost immediately. I will be driving at elevation regularly and will sometimes pull a trailer. I...
2004 TJ I bought in 2006. A lot of memories in that Jeep!
2014 Rubicon, bought it new in 2014.
2017 Rubi unlimited. Had too many kid seats for a two door.
2018 Rubi I bought in 2019 and shipped over seas. I thought it would be cool to stomp all over Europe in a Jeep like my forefathers...
Would you take some pictures of where it attaches? Wondering if it will work with the teraflex spare tire carrier and 37ās. The Garvin website doesnāt say or have any other pictures.
