My co-worker uses Flax oil mixed with something else on his JK and recommends it to me. I don't have the heart to tell him that I definitely won't be going that route because after seeing his, it's not working the way I would want it to hahaA friend told me that peanut oil is good, but I have not tried it yet...
I like this idea the best. Is the cowl easy to remove?Four years of sunlight made mine Grey.
I went a bit more permanent with krylon semi flat black.

Are you surprised by that? Wait until I tell you what the plastic that you’re using it on is made of!Hmmm, Black on Black by chemical guys is just a bunch of hydrocarbons ... aka oils and some silicone.
Here's a link to the MSDS

It’s not too bad. You get a trim tool, get between the cowl and the Jeep itself, pop all the clips on one side (driver or passenger) up to the midpoint, then do the same on the other side.I like this idea the best. Is the cowl easy to remove?
