Hi to all.
I took my JL in after installing a lift for an alignment and to install 37's.

They refused to do the work for a crack in the frame/bracket in the REAR track bar adjustment.

Here is an image and a cropped image with the yellow line next to what appears to be a crack.

I am scheduling something with the dealer of course and will keep you posted.

I would like to know how are your welds there and what do you guys think?

For not experienced and clarification, the bracket is located on the passenger side-rear.

I don’t have the vertical crack but the same crack where the frame dents in is there. Here’s a pic of the weld job on the rear track bar as well. No expert here but that to me looks horrendous.

I’m on the recall list too for the front track bar so basically anything welded to the frame is suspect in my opinion.

Thanks a lot for the pictures!

I am not in the latest recall and my front looks "perfect".

So the "indent" is normal I guess but mine definitely has a crack going upwards.

Looks like my crack is where your bracket is not welded and stops where the weld starts.

I will see what the dealer say when I bring it in...just worried that until it breaks off they will say "it's fine".

When was yours built? Interesting that that there is two different weld patterns on this bracket...
Mine was built on 5/31

The more I look at the pictures and the more I think that is not a crack but the corner of the bracket that's not supposed to be welded....

Hopefully someone else can post more picturess.

Went to the dealer Monday and they told me is all good.

I checked a few JL and:

- the indent is fine.
- the corner of the bracket is not welded.

I believe what appear to be a crack in mine is simply the paint covering or something because the corner of the bracket is not defined at all.
