A fellow i was talking today said when he changed the rear sway bar with extension, he said it drove MUCH better on the highway, less fighting the steering wheel for centering in a lane.

Any truth to this? I've never heard of anyone upgrade rear sway bar before, I'm sure it exists, I just never heard to topic.

Not sure what you are referring to "with extension".

You can upgrade the rear sway bar with a stiffer one that will keep the rear end flatter through turns (less roll). While a worthwhile upgrade for on-road driving, it would be detrimental off-road (less flex).

For most passenger cars, a stiffer rear sway bar reduces understeer, but I don't really see the correlation to straight line driving.

He said it made the steering feel much more straight and smooth.
