What video?in this video he briefly discusses it. you can use a drill bit to remove the plastic rivets.
theres another video where the guy shows you how to mark the inner fender liners with a sharpie so you can cut them and keep the inner part under the vehicle.
I am looking for the same thing...What video?
Has anyone done it???Does anyone have a tutorial on how to chop the rear fender liners? I’ve been searching for one with no luck. Is it so easy that it doesn’t need a how-to???
Any tips or pictures? I’ve only got rubbing in the rear fender wells. Want to make more room soon, and I’ve been looking at aftermarket options, but it doesn’t seem like it’d take too much to make my 37’s clear.I actually just dove in and figured it out. It's pretty self explanatory getting it off the Jeep. Then you'll see the two plastic welded pieces together. I slipped my hand in between the two pieces and separated them. Then you just have to trim the tabs off the edge with a razer.
I think it’s so similar to doing the fronts that there’s not a lot of YouTube videos for the rear. There are some for the JT rear. I watched this video for the front then did both front and rear. Do the fronts first, the rears are easier. No idea about the specific brand you mentioned.Old thread, apologies.
Has anyone done a rear fender chop? Is there a reason this isn't common/popular? I see everyone only doing the front.
Ordered an Infinite Offroad fender chop.
Also, is it an easy install? Tried watching a YouTube video, but couldn't find one for that brand.
When I was on 3.5" metalcloak and 37s, the rear tired always rubbed on inner fender and part of main fender.. I think the shop didn't add enough bumpstops?I think it’s so similar to doing the fronts that there’s not a lot of YouTube videos for the rear. There are some for the JT rear.
