Hi. I am looking for some quality/streamline cabin lighting ideas. At a recent jamboree I notice some great “rope“ style lighting with different colors. Didn’t get to ask. thanks

Could this be wired up to an aux switch and wire run to the back?I bought a Brawlee RGB striplight which mounts along the lower edge of the liftgate. It's plenty bright to illuminate both the cargo area and a tailgate table when the tailgate is fully opened.

It comes with everything you need to install it & connect to your dome light or the cargo area 12V cigar lighter socket. Excellent instructions. Has a remote control and an app to control light color and brightness. I'm VERY happy with this purchase. Jeep should include these as a $100 option.

Yes. I alternate between leaving it connected to the interior lights and plugging it in to the cigar lighter in the cargo area (fuse moved so that plug is on all the time). When connected to the cigar lighter outlet, I use my phone app or the IR remote to control it. I'm still very happy with this upgrade.Could this be wired up to an aux switch and wire run to the back?
There’s are a ton of LED strip lights in colors and RGB that may be the rope style you were seeing. It’s a tape that you can cut to length, and it’s waterproof since the LEDs are embedded in silicone.Hi. I am looking for some quality/streamline cabin lighting ideas. Haven’t seen any, I’ve used them on my boat, but didn’t post a DIY.know of any good threads on how to cleanly wire these in??
I got some self splicing clips from auto zone, ran wires behind plastic roll bar guard, and spliced into dome light. "Taped" them to underside of roll cage. No visible wire. They are bright! Pic was at 3am.![]()
Would you have any pics of the lights and splice? Or explanation? I would like to use the 12v source in the back but can’t seem to find any guidance
