Rear bumper recommendations

So I ordered my Rubicon about three weeks ago. I ordered the tow group with it. I've been shopping around for an aftermarket rear bumper. Many that I've been seeing, won't work with the factory hitch. They either replace it or simply won't work with it. I'm looking for suggestions for an aftermarket bumper that will work with the factory hitch.

There are several out there that will let you keep the factory hitch. I went with a Body Armor 4X4 mostly due to cost and availability.

I chose Warn, because I liked the design of their tire carrier, I knew it was stout enough to handle any size tire I would mount, it’s strong enough for recovery points, and it’s American made. If all those things matter to you the field of choices narrows a lot and the prices go up, but I’m done buying Chinese crap. It never fails to disappoint, and I always feel a little bit guilty.

I chose MetalCloak. I’ve been happy with it and their customer service is top notch. It works perfectly with the tow hitch. Also, keep in mind most aftermarket rear bumpers will require you to get a relocation bracket for your license plate.

Yes. Some, like the Warn, include the relocation bracket with the bumper.

It’d be nice if MC did but you can get the bumper and bracket for about the same price or lower. I’m not knocking Warn at all, I love the brand. I have their winch and I like the look of their elite bumpers. Thier customer service is great as well. I don’t think you’d be unhappy with either option.

I've also been researching bumpers. I also have the factory hitch and I would like to have integrated lighting.

For these reasons I keep coming back to expedition one but I haven't decided yet. This might be another option for you.

Check our ARB. I believe they fit w the factory hitch. Or just take it off and get a LOD with a hitch in it. Thats what I did.

Motobilt! American steel and American made. $500 shipped if you wait for a 10% off sale. Only thing is it ships bare steel. I Raptor lined mine myself.

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Hyline Summit. It lets you leave the stock hitch in place, has d-ring mounts, and also has an optional tire rack that could be added in the future. The hyline is one of the few that I've seen that also incorporate a lighted license plate mount in the stock location.

It's on the upper end, price wise, but is super clean.

Check out Motor City Aftermarket. Has the tow hitch cutout, park sense holes and cutouts for 4" LED Stop/Reverse lights which help immensely with the weak factory reverse taillights. It's a big slab of steel, a no-nonsense bumper.

* Edit * also mention, it saved my tub in a minor rear end collision. Should of seen her car, peeled the entire hood back lol.
