Installed front and rear diff covers and rear diff skid today. Over 4.75 quarts of RP later they finally had enough gear oil. Wasn't expecting that. Went Rancho for the color for those wondering.

Almost 5 quarts until fluid came out of the fill hole?

Their site says "Off-set over-sized fill plug for increased fluid capacity and easier/quicker filling"
Did you fill it to the large fill plug? From the looks of the location in your pics it looks like your axle tubes will be half full with oil. That seems a bit extreme to me. I'd keep an eye on the pack wheels and look for signs of an oil leak from oil getting by the seals. That lower small plug looks closer to the correct height to me, but I could be wrong.

Those would look great on my Rubi. How are you supposed to know how much to fill if there are no directions? I would assume stock amount unless told otherwise.

They should've specified that in their instructions. The larger top hole is for filling. The lower is the oil level. Pull the lower plug, and drain it while sitting on level ground. It will take a while, so plan on letting it sit for an hour or so.

If it's the red that interests you, ARB also has a nice set. I went with their front and rear covers. They use Allen socket head bolts and the bolt locations are countersunk to protect the heads.
