Their site says "Off-set over-sized fill plug for increased fluid capacity and easier/quicker filling"Installed front and rear diff covers and rear diff skid today. Over 4.75 quarts of RP later they finally had enough gear oil. Wasn't expecting that. Went Rancho for the color for those wondering.
Those would look great on my Rubi. How are you supposed to know how much to fill if there are no directions? I would assume stock amount unless told otherwise.Instructions didn't say fill till coming out of small hole but that is an ready fix.
They should've specified that in their instructions. The larger top hole is for filling. The lower is the oil level. Pull the lower plug, and drain it while sitting on level ground. It will take a while, so plan on letting it sit for an hour or so.Instructions didn't say fill till coming out of small hole but that is an ready fix.
If it's the red that interests you, ARB also has a nice set. I went with their front and rear covers. They use Allen socket head bolts and the bolt locations are countersunk to protect the heads. Those would look great on my Rubi.
