It’s interesting how all these sold orders never get shipped (mine has been sitting waiting to be shipped for close to 2 months) but the ones that are built for dealer stock seem to get shipped fairly quickly. Obviously, it seems like they are intentionally shipping the unsold units first. Only problem is the risk of alienating their customers long term.

I think that the Jeep I am trying to locate was claimed from dealer allocation (my daughter found it and sent me a link - she loves Snazzberry). I will know more tomorrow.

Jeep is supposedly in KZ M status - my contact stayed home from work. Stellantis said updated 3117 AM - ETA 3/31 to 4/15 (but today they said it had not yet shipped).

Feel like a hamster on a wheel - frustrated

Spoke to Stellantis again. 3/21 1224 PM Jeep loaded on truck to rail car. 3/24 loaded from truck to railcar. ETA in Rolla, CO 3/29 at 600 AM.

Got brief call today from dealer - all they said was Jeep was somewhere in Nebraska but they could not tell me where (supposedly). I was told to expect it in mid April.

Called Stellantis after dealership & got conflicting information again. They told me they did not know where my Jeep was and changed ETA to 4/4-4/15.

Baffles me that logistics and shipping are a mystery to FCA.

Lol I’m sorry to tell you but once the Jeep gets on the train there is no tracking until it hits your local rail yard. The rail companies lose or misplace rail cars constantly. They stage them on spurs in the middle of nowhere or rail yards for another train to eventually get the cars to move further down the line in the direction that car needs to go. My bosses regularly call me when I deliver my loads to customers and tell me to get my tanker cleaned and head to a chemical plant for a base product. The manufacturer I deliver for runs out of base chemicals all the time because their large rail tank load is “in transit” and no one knows where it is. So I have to bring a small load in to get the manufacture by and making their products while waiting on the huge tank car.

So if they misplace a tank car of hazardous chemicals they sure ain’t worried about a rail car of vehicles.

I hate being the bearer of bad news. Just passing along the reality of rail delivery.

It arrived at the dealership in NY today. Although elated that it is here, I'm in disbelief that FCA has no clue where the vehicle is after production.

Probably not their fault. If the rail company isn’t giving them updates then they can’t update you or the dealer.

All I found out today is KZS status - no idea where on rails it is-and still no call from any brand mentor. Stellantis ETA still 4/4 to 4/15 delivery.

Update from dealership: 3/30 Jeep is in Cheyenne rail yard and should be in Rolla. CO by early next week. Hoping Fort Collins Jeep will be able to get Jeep released and driven back to Fort Collins by early to the middle of next week.

Spoke with General Sales Manager to get a lot of facts and information correct. Jeep chat was still showing it as dealer's stock order even though I put in claim and deposit on 3/18!

Sales manager added my daughter's information, making it a sold order as sold orders take priority over dealers stock. My salesman should have done that a few weeks ago. I knew it was a Charlie Foxtrot in the making so called sales manager directly this morning.

Most convoluted purchase ever. Right now the Jeep is only 46 miles away! Rolla, CO to Cheyenne distance is 96 miles.

Answer from Stellantis:

Unfortunately, the system you are requesting access to is specifically designed for Stellantis Logistics personnel and their suppliers. The proper channel of communication you should pursue for updates on your new vehicle would be to reach back out to your dealer. They should have contacts at their respective/regional Dealer Business Center which can provide various updates on your vehicle throughout the production and shipping process. (not unexpected at all).

The 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S arrived at last rail stop in Rolla, CO on March 30th, 2022 at 257 PM. Hopefully the dealership will be able to pick up and deliver for sale by this weekend.

Will be picking up Jeep on Monday April 4th from dealership. Cleared to pick up from last railhead.

Jeep was picked up at railhead by dealership drivers and is enroute to the dealership for PDI & detail. Will be picking it up around 430 to 500 PM.

Good luck to all those awaiting shipment via rail! What a PITA without any real time tracking system.
