  1. Metalcloak DEF Skid

Just to follow up in case it is helpful to someone, it does clear. The photo (taken from the passenger side) is at very near full flex and as the axle goes up, the clearance actually increases due to rotation of the axle. You were both correct, no problem clearing. Thanks.
  2. Metalcloak DEF Skid

Thanks for the replies. I have stock rear control arms and Mopar lift. I believe that maybe that bolt location may also rotate slightly (and provide a little more clearance) as the axle goes up.
  3. Metalcloak DEF Skid

Installed the MC DEF skid and noticed the rear track bar bolt on the axle clears by less than an inch as shown in the photo. Does anyone know if the axle moves rearward (causing it to rub) at all during articulation or nearly straight up? It seems like the control arms would not allow much...
  4. Towing with 3.0 Diesel

Which stock grill do you have, the one like the JT diesel with more airflow (which comes with the trailcam on the JL) or the standard JL grill? Might make a difference. If you look at pictures you will see that they are different.
  5. 2020 JLURD dead in driveway after batteries dying

This happened to me with a new JLURD, wipers, lights, etc acted odd. No start and low batteries. Charged up with a NOCO 10amp charger and it was ok for a while, then I noticed it was “awake” in the garage one night. My fobs were within 15ft or so. I have since stored them in a different...
  6. Quadratec Tube Door Issue

Used hammer on hinges and made my own stop since they were too short after all adjustments. Hopefully customer service will respond to my email about the threads on the lower front passenger door pin not accepting the factory bolt.
  7. Quadratec Tube Door Issue

I sent an email to customer service about a lower front passenger hinge that will not accept the door bolt, have not heard back yet. I was able to hammer the doors in with a rubber mallet and create my owe stopper using parts from lowes, see pic below. If I can get the hinge worked out, I’m...
  8. Quadratec Tube Door Issue

I used your method on the quadratic doors doors and it worked very well. I am curious about what you did for the rubber stoppers? Mine are too short on the front regardless of hinge/latch adjustments.
  9. A Hello, and a few questions from a new Jeep fan

i had a 2dr, nothing against them but find the extra space of the 4 dr to be well worth the $. Allows it to be more versatile to run errands. Also, with a small lift and tires getting in the backseat of a 2dr is slightly more difficult. Hard top is a good choice, I got both tops but never put...
  10. Quadratec Tube Door Issue

I have the same doors but have never installed yet, I might try to test fit one early next week. Is it the front or rear door?
  11. Help me pick a front bumper!

I just put on a RR Arcus bumper and lower skid with a Warn 10s. Fog lights fit fine (Led from plastic bumper JLURD). Easy install, just leave everything loose until all is installed. Do the skid after the bumper is on and totally tight. Be sure to run winch wires as soon as winch is on...
  12. 2021 JLURD Parking Sensors

Photos in case they are needed…
  13. 2021 JLURD Parking Sensors

I used the rough country relocation bracket #10529 that only moved it up 2.25 inches ( they have another that does 4.75inches). It worked, sensors are normal now (had some issues with the stock 285 tires even). I have 17” -6 pro comp wheels, 315 Cooper stt pros and mopar tailgate reinforcement...
  14. Oh that happy day when….

I was thinking the same but it takes 8 more weeks after it is built due to shipping delays most likely
  15. First Wrangler: a month in with Rubicon diesel...impressions

I also chose the diesel, I had a gas before. The power is the main thing I enjoy and have had no problems so far, the power is excellent. In the Rubicon with the 3.73, it seemed to make no difference in when heavier wheels and 35’s were added. Mpg seems to be around 24 now. No regrets at all...
  16. 22 wrangler order date, vin and actual deliveries.

Ordered 12-1, built in early feb, picked up 4-9 JLURD
  17. Is the EcoDiesel still desirable?

If it were about “justifying” an expense, I guess I’d drive a Corolla. The added cost of a diesel is very small (DEF, Oil, etc). The power is what mattered to me.
  18. Leaked Stellanis memo—Wrangler name ending!

    It’s April 1st today…..
  19. Rail Transportation Tracking

It’s interesting how all these sold orders never get shipped (mine has been sitting waiting to be shipped for close to 2 months) but the ones that are built for dealer stock seem to get shipped fairly quickly. Obviously, it seems like they are intentionally shipping the unsold units first...
  20. 22 wrangler order date, vin and actual deliveries.

Mine is in KZS status also, I guess that means it is ready to ship but not actually shipped? Ordered JLURD with most options on 12/1
