Whats up yall. I noticed a few months back when I got into my Jeep that the radio screen looked like it was flickering/wavy like how a TV in the 90's or earlier would do it the signal wasnt great. Not distorted but just wavy. That was maybe at the start of the summer and I have noticed it happening more and more lately. I searched the forum and found a couple of posts about something like this but they also had freezing/rebooting issues and mine is not doing that, also those posts were from 4+ years ago.

Has anyone had this issue?

I have a video of the screen doing it and will post shortly.

It's probably a loose or bad connection to the head unit but I'd pull the Tazer just to eliminate the wildcard gadget connected to your system.

The head unit plug may not have been fully engaged at the factory but tested fine until you drove over a few bumps. You could pull out the head unit and make sure the plugs are tight before taking it in.

2023. 9"(I think. Its the bigger square one) yes tazer installed.
The first thing to do when you have a Tazer plus weird behavior is to remove the Tazer to verify that it is or isn't part of the problem.

So new Tazer user here, so maybe a dumb auestion. When you say remove, do you mean just physically remove the Tazer and reattach the OEM SGW connections, or unmarry and remove the Tazer and reattach the OEM SGW connectors?

Hopefully you have either the extension cable or tiny flexible hands.

The safest approach would be to remove and unmarry it. That completely takes it out of the picture. That might not be required, but it removes all doubt in whether it's contributing to an issue or not.

Video of flickering was taken before tazer installation
If I were you I'd be making an appointment at a dealership.

It's safest to remove and unmarry the Tazer just in case the dealership is an ass about things like that.

LOL. I have the cable already. No problems yet, I’m just trying to learn as much as possible about the Tazer. Thanks.

In the past week my 2024 JLR has started randomly blinking off very quick. Random, not over bumps only. No electrical mods done.
