Radio only plays for a second

I usually listen to my phone through the car play. Sometimes I want to listen to a baseball game on the radio. However, when I switch to FM, it plays for a second and then nothing. I can switch back to the car play and it works just fine.

Any chance ideas?

Not sure what year, but my 2018 JLU I had some sound issues. No sound at all thru speakers. I'd have to click on AM, then the source I'd actually want to hear. No idea why, but it worked 100%.

I should have added that this is a 2024 and I just picked it up last month.

Just throwing this tidbit out there...is it one of those situations where the entertainment system's volume has multiple setting depending upon what you are listening to?

When it does it, have you tried disconnecting your phone? I've had mine do it a few times where it suddenly thinks my GPS app or something else on my phone is using the volume and doesn't play the radio station.

I will give that a try. That might be the issue. I just went out and tried it but went to the radio before the phone connected and the radio kept playing. But if it happens again, I’ll disconnect my phone to see if it will play the radio.
