Lots of street driving as its my DD but its build to go off-road. I will go with Trail Grapplers as they are not to bad but would like quieter tire if possible.

If it's a DD, I'd go with an A/T or maybe an R/T if you have a high tolerance for noise.

People that have had Trail Grapplers mentioned they wear quickly and they are noisey after the new tire "honeymoon".

I have BFG 39x13.5R17 KO2 Moab Edition tires on a JLR and they are surprisingly quiet on road. The Moab Edition and its sticky competition rubber compound also work very well in Moab, where I go 4-wheeling frequently. You can't buy the Moab Edition tires any more, and they would wear fast on a daily driver anyway. The new KO3s are similar and are said to be better on road but not as good off road as a KO2. For limited off road use I think a 39" KO3 could certainly be considered. A number of other AT tires would be an equal option.

The KO3’s on my truck are much quieter than the Wildpeak MT’s on my Jeep. That being said, I see a lot more deer on quieter tires… 🤔

Dude you want a 40 on a daily driven Jeep, they are all going to be noisy. This isnt a Tahoe to haul around crotch goblins.

I've had 40's on my JKU but the LS was the noise maker it drowned out the Trail Grapplers.

The BFG KO3 in 39x13.5r17 would be an obvious choice.
I used to run the KO's years ago, great for 20k miles them they got hard as a rock and traction went south. Maybe they are better now.

But that said BJG's sidewalls are way to weak for any off road work IMO , Krawlers are the exception.

If you really need 38 or 40 inch tires, then that makes sense. Unfortunately that also means I think you're out of luck. Time for earplugs...

Yes I need 38-40's, and I'm running 38" trail's now but like to find something a little quieter but just as capable. Only option may be Baja Boss XT's or MTZ or maybe the Razr MT ?
