Looking for recommendations on the best hardware to replace the current bolts for quicker removal of the hardtop on a 2018 Unlimited JL. Here's a few names on Quadratec, but I'm open to other ideas.
Also, has anyone used one of these name brands for their hoist system on a JL hardtop:

Thanks in advance!

Lange kick screws for $34.95? That's absurd! What is the mark-up from manufacturing? Colors my trust of other Lange products.

Do a quick search on amazon and you can find some for under $10-that fit the JK-probably will fit the JL too. They are convenient to have.

My recommendation is to use a cordless impact driver with the torx bit from the toolkit. Takes me 1-2 minutes to have all 8 screws out/back in with no manual labor involved. I can't think of a reason to go with a knobed screw unless you plan to take the top on/off away from home quite often and without planning (bringing the driver with you).

Sounds like a plan. Thanks to everyone for the feedback. Now I just have to track down a soft top, seat covers, etc.

I was considering using one of these with my cordless drill. Anyone have any experience with it?

That's going to make for one massive drill. Lol

Just buy a Milwaukee M12 ratchet.

Battery and charger are separate though.

Milwaukee 2457-20 M12 Cordless 3/8" Sub-Compact 35 ft-Lbs 250 RPM Ratchet w/ Variable Speed Trigger (Battery Not Included, Power Tool Only) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006CSRBTC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jKh6Ab43D53WC

Yup, I have one and it is a pleasure to use for removing bolts such as the hard top torx head bolts.

Cordless drill?

Dude, give me a ratchet, small extension, and the torx socket and I'll have those 6 bolts out in 60 seconds. Why do we need "quick screws"?
