Hardtop Hoist

I'm looking at a putting a hoist in the garage so that I can get the hardtop off by myself. I was thinking something similar to this youtube video



It looks like he is using some air suction hooks to hold up the top. Would these work long term? Is there something you guys can recommend which would be simple to put up?

Hey abbot,

He's simply using ratchet straps attached to some eyelets secured to the roof.. While this would work.. There are much more convenient ways, though all depends on how much you want to spend.
