yeah definitely could of saved yourself a lot of time by wiring up to the ignition line in the passenger footwell.
There is 6 wires, 1 for each of the aux buttons, 1 for constant 12v and one for ignition only.
Looks like you would be after vinyl wrap and not paint protection film wrap. There should be plenty of shops over in your area that offer this service for you =)
Are you talking in terms of changing the complete colour of the car to a different colour in Matte or just applying a matte paint protection film on top of the factory colour to make it matte?
When I ordered my fully optioned JLUR back in 2019, I paid way way under what the Americans paid for the base JLUR. My total cost was $68500 on road (With optioned paint, leather interior, electrical upgrade, both hard and soft top roofs, steel bar, etc)
When I was at the LA motor show end of...
yup happened to mine as well.

I bought steel inner fenders to change it out, which i havent installed in well over a year haha.. one day... As i did a bandaid fixed which sorted it out 100%

Its a jeep wrangler. I think you are to concerned with fuel economy over function imo.
If you are after rated recovery points, Im guessing you will go off road and want them in case you get stuck so you can be pulled out. If that is the case, why not get a bar with the ability to add a winch...
I mean you could.. but it wouldnt last long and i wouldnt recommend it. I have a dashcam to one of my aux switches that ive set to always on, got into my jeep the other day and car was complaining battery was low and hence turned off the dash cam (I havent been driving much in the past 2 weeks)...
All JLs have the 2 batteries, but i have a feeling you have the wrong picture about this.
You have the big cranking battery up top and the little battery under it is used primarily for keeping accessories and all alive when the jeep turns its engine off with the start/stop stuff.
For example...
Mine has been wrapped for over 2 years now and it still looks great.
Ive done a few extremely tight trails overgrown in bush. The mirrors and hard top got some light scratches and the doors and all look absolutely perfect. If you are in Sydney, Im happy to show you my jeep first hand.
It takes...
All depends on the film. I have used quite a lot of them and currently i use and prefer Suntek Reaction film. It comes with a 12 year warranty too.

Though, please note that while companies will offer a high warranty period, it is based on the...
Hey Brandon, I did make some pre cut patterns, i tried it a few times but then on my last 2 installs i realised its way way easier to use a slightly oversize cut piece and them trim back hard against the edge of the glass. Its super easy on the JLs as the entire edge of the glass is exposed and...

Just thought i'd post an update on my suspension.
Im still running the AEV dualsport kit except i changed out my shocks 5 months ago to the day and can say, that they are awesome. Im running them on the softest setting and it is still on the firmer side, but plenty comfortable for me and any...
I have had my aussie spec JLUR for coming up on 2 years now and the reverse lines have shown for me 100% of the time. Could be just an issue with newer models?
is there any dead spot in the middle from what ive heard from others?
As im thinking of trying to get the box changed over in my jeep too, but im nearly a year in waiting for other replacement parts.. its becoming such a joke, i feel i need to rock up to the dealership with my tool box and take...
I have nearly this exact setup..
Massive light bar, flood lights on the side, CB antenna, Solar panel and pass it all through the roof.
I have everything minus solar hard wired (Solar has anderson plug inside the cabin) It wouldnt be difficult to simply add plugs on the wires inside the cabin...
