Quick question on alternator

I have the 220amp alternator, can i swap for the 240amp without having to change anything else or tell the computer?

Thanks! With the JL it seems everything has to go through the computer (leds, gears, aux switches, etc)

The sensor for voltage is on the battery.. IMO the alternator's job is to charge it as needed. My naive understanding says, it can be swapped and its just business as usual.

This is the same case when regular 48 group battery peeps upgraded to 94R battery and didn't have to do anything on tazer/Jscan
