Mechman Alternator replacement questions

Hey all.
A couple months ago was feverish and delirious with the flu and made a half conscious purchase of a mechman alternator for my 2018 3.6 Rubi.
I imagine in my delirium it thought it would solve my idle whistle / whine sound at the time.
I just checked and i do have the oil line thrown by the OAD pulley.

it arrived when i was still sick and got tucked away in the garage.
I just stumbled on it and realized it doesnt have an OAD pulley.
Questions:
1) can i install it without and OAD pulley and will that matter?

2) if it matters can i add an OAD pulley to it?

Also why is there a gap where (i think) the bolt mounts it.

Take a better picture of that mounting ear - typically that bushing slides through the ear when the bolt is tightened. This is on purpose.

I would direct my question first to Mechman. I have had one of their alternators on a 2016 JK for several years with no issues. I found them very helpful.
