i’d like to add to my post above that my sahara is gas. i ordered both tops and love them both. i switch them seasonally and it’s very easy to do. many say you shouldn’t take off the SOT.
if you have kids (i have several, lol), i’d recommend seat covers. i bought the bartact and absolutely love them but note, they’ve too expensive, lol.
depending on where you live, i’d also consider the cold weather group.
reach out if you have other questions that i can help with

Thank you. I'm thinking of Sahara High Altitude. This would be a lease as I don't trust the 4xe battery tech to last beyond a few years. SOT is coming on HA.

My only concern with SOT remains the risk of rain eventually finding a way in. I hope not. I believe HA also have cold package.

Thanks all for the advise and recommendations. Read countless threads on SOT, an acronym I didn't know until I started this thread lol.

Now I'm a proud owner for the next 36 months of High Altitude :)

In the end HA made sense for me thanks to all the wonderful advice here:

1. Tried both cloth and leather Seats. Leather felt far superior than cloth seats.
2. The mix of orange stitching on Sahar's with great dash didn't make sense. Similar to Rubicon, HA had nice blue stitching through out.
3. Needed Alpine system, most of the combinations at dealers did not have one of the 3 options I wanted.
4. Sideboards
5. Dealer discount made this as attractive as a sahara
6. SOT!! :D

Looking forward to topless nights!

Hello

I'm new to the jeep family but trying to read up on a bunch of threads. I have been interesred in Sahara 4xe and had a few questions, hoping you can help:

1. Are people here typically preferring 4xe technology or gasoline only?

2. Is the 4xe working out better especially with the $7500 federal credit or is it just the inflated prices of 4xe being offset by the credit?

3. Any thoughts on lease vs finance on Jeeps or really personal preference?

4. Are there any must have options on '24 Wranglers? I'm particularly interested in leather, alpine sound system, 3-piece hard stop (one touch sky is nice too) and side step (for the kids).

5. Finally, more on the offloading side: The delaer is saying the all seasons tires on Sahara are not off-road capable. I'm not looking to take on any complex trail for now but more of gravel roads with 1 or 2 difficulty. Is he correct? He was pushing me towards Willy for better tires or Rubicon.

Would appreciate any feedback! Thanks!
The $7500 tax credit can help balance out the higher price of the 4xe, which might make it a better deal for some people. But whether it's truly better depends on stuff like how you drive, if you have places to charge it, and how much you'll spend in the long run.
