Questions about issues after main battery replacement?

My main battery died last week and was replaced. Since then I've gotten the 'Service Start/Stop System' error. I've always had issues with the ESS sporadically working, its been to the dealer 3 times and it never resolves. I personally can't stand the ESS anyway and I always turn it off. It seems clear this error is related to the main battery replacement. Are there any potential easy home fixes I can investigate or another way to clear the error?

Also ever since the battery replacement I have to touch my fob to the push button start every time the car has been sitting for more than an hour or so. Didn't have this before either. I replaced both fob batteries and still have it. Any ideas?

Always do both batteries, not just one. Seems to be the golden ticket.

Pull the 42 fuse and disconnect the ground wire to the aux battery. That little battery is cannibalizing your brand new one. Do it soon.

I have a 2018 JLR and some times I just charge up my AUX Battery as I get a error message that my aux switches will not work... But at this point replace it and charge over night monthly.

As others said, repace the AUX battery.
As for your push to start, replace the battery in the remote
