Question

Looking at a Ruby take off suspension, springs, shocks, sway bars to install on a Willy's sport. Do you also need the longer sway bar links? because of the added height. And does anyone know exactly how much height diff. it will may on a stock Willy's sport?

I believe the shocks are identical and the only difference is the springs. They would get you ~1” in lift. Not enough to really need sway bar links, but longer or adjustable wouldn’t hurt (especially with quick disconnects). Jeep may not even have longer links on the Rubicons from factory.

If you’re just looking to clear bigger tires, Rubicon fender flares also may be worth looking into.

Willy's have the Rubicon shocks, not the springs.

so, maybe no links, but a sport would only get 1" height increase?

Thanks for the replies. Forgive my ignorance of required jeep stuff. Maybe I should ask, what all parts do I need from a Rubicon take off suspension? Like bump stops for the increased travel?

Not all Rubicons get the same springs, it depends on the weight as built with various options and accessories. Ditto for other trim levels as well. There’s a long ongoing thread on spring part numbers which I suggest you look at.

no end links needed. and the only thing needed is the springs. make sure you get them from someone that had the hard top and steel bumper group. this will net you a little more lift. if i remember right i gained about 1.5" of lift on my sport

This ^^^. There are so many different combinations of springs/shocks that Jeep puts on these things. There is a great chart in another thread with part numbers of the springs, so make sure the springs you buy aren't the same (or lower part #) than you already have. Just being a "rubicon' spring doesn't really mean anything. Recently another member purchased Rubicon take off springs that were the same that were already on his Sahara.

According to the research I have done, I need Rubicon take off springs from a 2021 JLUR 2.0L Turbo with the hard top and steel bumper group. The chart states tow package, hard top, steel bumper "true" or steel bumper, hard top "true" and tow package "false" so, same springs even without the tow package.(This would be best, may add tow package or steel bumper later, plus might get a tad more lift)

All 4 springs have diff. numbers, weather they are the same front, rear passenger, driver, I don't know. I am just going to look for exact numbers.

This known, would I still need the half inch spacer in the front to bring the Jeep level? I am thinking yes.

I picked up a set from a Rubicon diesel, hard top, steel bumpers & tow pkg. those should be the tallest springs & give the max lift over my OEM Sahara springs, I believe.

Your probably right, as far as giving the most lift, and I would be fine with that. I just don't know if there suppose to be corner specific?

Did you install the half inch spacers in the front to level it?
