Quadratec QRC full size front bumper

Ok I searched and could not find this answer. I saw it was asked a couple of years ago but never got answered. Of the people that have this bumper on your jeep did you use your old fog lights? I have a 2020 sport and it says they fit but I could not for the life of me see how that would work. It says all the OEM fog lights work except for the rubicon steel bumper. I did ask the question on the quadratec page but didn’t get answered answer.
I’m just wondering if I’m the only one. Also if you have after market fog lights on this bumper which did you go with and are you happy with them?

I know the LED fogs out of a plastic bumper will fit and I thought the LEDs were the same on both bumpers.

I got this pic from another thread since I am at work and don’t have my lights with me. Mine look like the ones on the bottom. That light like that did not fit in my bumper unless I am completely missing something.

Original fog lights will fit. I eventually upgraded to Oracles.

So you had fog lights like the bottom ones and they fit? I turned those things every way I could and I just couldn’t get them on there. I guess I am just missing something. I was thinking I would go with oracles but wanted my original ones in there till I got them.

Its been a minute since I put them on but yes my sport fogs fit. It was a pain. I seem to remember there was a bracket I had to use.

I'll have to give it another shot then. The bracket that came with the bumper is supposed to be for the rubicon fog lights. All it did for me was make it uneven on the other side. I'll try it again when I get a second. Thanks for the response though.

Ok so I got under there again and they do not fit. These pics are both lights trying to line up on the left side. The first pic is the way I would assume it is supposed to go. Even with the metal bracket that is supplied it would still not line up on the side opposite of the bracket. Every thing I have read says that they fit so I am feeling quite dumb that I can’t figure it out.

I'm off tomorrow, I'll try to get some pic of mine though I have the oracles in now. I may still have the stock lights.

That would be very helpful. I’m afraid that even if I go with the oracles I might have the same issue.

We have different lights. I have a 2020sport s which came with halogen lights. Are yours led. First pics are the oracles second are the stock lights. My tabs align. You could make it work with longer screw. Which bumper do you have?

I’ll have to see if longer screws will make it work. I do have the led fogs and the sport bumper. I now have the qrc full size bumper.

Were you able to find a resolution? I am in the same situation, with a 2020 JL and the fog lights that came stock with the plastic bumper do not fit at all. I called Quadratec and they recommended I order replacement fog lights that would fit.

I also have the bottom imaged LED lights that they claim work - they did not. I was able to grab 6x 2" machine screws with washers and locking nuts - after some small drilling to ensure the screws fit snug/actually screw, I was able to get both sides secure enough where there is no wobble and appeared extremely secure and level (just be careful not to over-tighten and crack the plastic). They've been on just over a week and are still snug, but this was the cheaper option than new lights - might change later should they come loose.
