For those that might be interested in the Quadratec bumper quality.

Was wheeling with a group this weekend and we all came to a stop midway up about a 10 degree climb as there was a bunch of ice further up the hill and we were looking at winching options. I was about 20' behind the 4 door JK in front of me, the driver was up the hill with and his wife was still in the jeep. Neither Jeep was running. All of a sudden we see his Jeep moving backwards and picking up speed and it crashed square on into mine. I thought for sure there would be serious damage based on the speed and noise of the crash, at least the winch, lights and maybe radiator would be damaged.

But the quadratec took the hit on the pass. D ring and the winch hook. It pushed the recovery spot in just a bit and scuffed up my flat link along with a couple spots where the powder coat flaked off. On his Jeep it pushed his steel bumper up and into his rear gate enough to where it would not open. For a relatively cheap bumper option it threw off this hit very good and did what it was supposed to.

Wow! I'm sorry he totaled your bumper. I would be asking him to buy a new one and why he rolled 20' down hill and slammed into your jeep. Did he not have, Brakes? Geewhiz!

Not totaled just has some character now. Not sure what happened with it rolling back. It had been sitting there a couple minutes fine and his wife was in the pass. seat. I was initially thinking she somehow knocked it out of park, but don't think you can move it out of park without pressing the brake.

He did take care of me with the bumper so all is good.
