For newcomers, this black/blue/green screen and guideline disappearing are very common uConnect software bugs, not only in Jeep, but also Dodge and Ram which also have uConnect options, you can search on their forum and you will see it was basically beaten to death.
There is NO solution at this time, until FCA software programmers figure it out. Meanwhile, you can
(1) whenever start up your car, wait till the whole system boot/stabilize itself before shift into "R", this will give plenty of time for camera software.
(2) if any of the symptoms happens, it will go away after parking your Jeep for two or three hours. Or you can force reboot the uConnect by pull F11 and F97 fuses. Tazer can also reboot your radio.
DO NOT let your dealer fix it the hard way, unless you are 100% sure it is hardware related which 99% of the time it is not. In order to do this, the dealer pretty much has to tear down your dash panel, quarter panel, b-pillar trim, cargo trim, and tailgate trim. Most of the time, they won't fix anything and they will slap your trims together which will become loose wires and rattle heaven.
