I have a 21jl with the 7" screen. On the snow when we put it in reverse I see white bands that start in the distance and come towards the rear of the jeep. For christmas I bought my wife the Oracle LED reverse lights and installed them. Once they were installed I had issues with the reverse lights going out and read about how you need to put LED bulbs in the taillights due to the extra draw shutting down the system. I put those in and everything lights up as normal now, but the bands are there. I covered the taillights and the lines were still there. I then covered the oracle lights and the bands were still there.
Wondering if anyone has had this issue? I'm assuming it's the same thing as trying to take a picture of a television and something to do with the refresh rate. Any ideas on how to fix it so it doesn't do it would be appreciated.
