I don’t think you’re being a downer at all. I work in supply chain / production and know this all too well.

That said, in my opinion it would seem like a wasteful process to swap suspension, wheels/tires, and other XR specific components after initial assembly… even the reinforced tailgate hinge would make more sense installed in the line. I figured the secondary location was meant for decals & easily attached items ie: door sill guards, grab handles, mats, etc.

I’m likely wrong haha

Another update... my XR has moved to KZS status "waiting on railcar". Travis @ Tri-City said it will likely be assigned an ETA by early next week.

I got my build sheet via crypto stickers on 1/25... so I'm not sure if my XR moved quickly or if my build sheet notification was delayed?

Got ya. I’ve been in JB since the 24th but I have not seen my sticker yet and JC says still in JB.

Interesting. I would check with your dealer as their intel is much better than JC.

I’ve seen other guys with the XR sit in JB for a couple of weeks, so I’m just figuring it could be a bit yet.

My 21 JLR sat in JB for 20 days because of the manual transmission recall, my 21 Gladiator diesel sat in JB for 9 days getting bed liner and whatnot, and my 20 JLUR diesel was in JB for 4 days getting hinge gate reinforcement, so yeah, you just never know.

* Tow Package

Hi guys, I got my rubicon with extrem recon package 2 months ago. I selected 4.1 rock trac as the 4H auto. Can anyone helps me to understand what’s the relationship here the 4.1 versus the Extrem recon rear gear ration 4.56:1. Do the 2 things can be configured together, it’s not a contradiction ?

4:1 is the low range gears of the transfer case.

4.56 is the gear ratio of the differentials

they combine in 4 low

* 11/23 - Order placed w/ $1k deposit, VIN received same day via Tri-City Jeep
* 1/25 - Build sheet notification via Cryptostickers
* 1/27 - Dealer notified that Jeep is in KZS status (awaiting railcar)
* 1/28 - Window sticker notification via Cryptostickers

I am now in KZ. Let’s see how long it takes them to get it to my dealer seeing as I’m less than an hour from the plant. I’m betting at least a week ?
