Back to Knik Glacier today. Maxed out my 36” of water fording depth twice without intake, axle, or electrical issues. Got the drone up in the air to get some better perspective of how big this piece of ice is.

Just took delivery 5 days ago and already have a cracked windshield!

Loving every mile so far . . . The diesel is a strong & willing companion. Instant throttle response. On my way home to AZ from MI.

The previous photo was on the shore of Lake Michigan overlooking Green Bay. I just got to Montana a few minutes ago on our way to The Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. 2118 miles on the new rig. When holding 65 or less, seeing 27 mpg. Crossing South Dakota & Wyoming with 80 mph speed limits & HELLACIOUS head/crosswinds, mileage dropped precipitously (20 - 22 mpg).

Made a separate thread for a trip I just finished up the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Ocean. So far this particular 3.0 has passed every test I’ve thrown at it over 7000 miles. Crawling, deep water fording, overland, subzero temps, commuting, towing, camping with 4 people plus dog plus gear...the only thing I have to diagnose/fix from this trip is a BD Squadron Pro fog light that’s on the fritz...should know tomorrow if it’s a BD problem or a Jeep problem.
