i run an Iceco fridge on big trips. I actually enjoy it starting to figure out how to make my own drawer sliding system that's easily removed
I bought the slide for my fridge. After looking at it, I built a slide for on storage container. I bought everything to build the slide at Home Depot. I used angle aluminum and flat alumina that I pop riveted together and two slides the were rated at 200 pounds, It cost me about $60 in total to build it.

It took about two hours to cut everything to size and assemble it. It works great with these totes.

I would not buy another slide. My fridge slide was $250. While it is nice, I can easily build it myself now that I have done it once.

That’s actually pretty much what I am looking at doing. I’ll have to see what the local HD has for the sliders around here that’s for the heads up. Looks simple enough to do

I have two fridges; an ARB Zero that sits in my trailer and a cheap Alpicool C30 that I use in the jeep on vacations without the trailer.

Both fridges have battery voltage cutoffs that will prevent the battery from draining. If the voltage gets too low (user setable; high, medium or low voltage settings), the fridge stops.

Because I'm a goof, I bought a cheap 16Ah lifepo4 battery. This allows me about a full day of charge in the summer heat. If you want, you can also get a "DC to DC lifepo4 charger" for about 100 bucks.

The ARB Zero is nicer and larger but takes up too much space in the jeep. The Alpicool was a cheap buy but I've been surprisingly happy with it.

So, if you have a battery with about 70AH, you SHOULD be able to run the fridge for just over 13 hours.
I measured my energy consumption using a current integrator over 24hr multiple times, so I consider 16 Ah/day to be fairly accurate. And of course a 70 Ah battery degrades over time and also cannot be discharged fully without damage.

i use the Dometic CFX3 45 fridge, with the protective cover and the Dometic PLB40 Portable lithium battery.

fridge is plugged into the PLB40 battery, battery is plugged into the Accessory port in the back of the J**p cargo compartment.
Fuse 43/45 in the fusebox of the J**p is configured to F45 so that the Accessory Port is only live when the engine is running; the means the fridge/batt can never pull the vehicle batt down while sitting in camp, even with the Power Protection System of the fridge set to its lowest level.
(my Users Manual says that with the fuses configured this way the Acc port is supposed to be "powered when the ignition switch is in the ON/RUN or ACC position", but i find that it is actually only powered when the engine is running, and not even from a Remote Start; it could be another 'Diesel Thing'.)
depending on ambient temps and fridge target temp, the lithium batt will typically keep everything running a couple of days without needing to recharge.

bonus is that i can pull the fridge and its batt out of the J**p to set it fireside.

note; as supplied from the factory, the Voltage at the accessory port is poor enough that the fridge would not start up on its own sometimes. so unless you are going to use an external batt, be prepared for the possibility of having to upgrade the power supply source to feed the fridge.
