For those commenting on her looks - please post a pic of your wife, so we have some reference - cuz otherwise you sound like a 14 yr old virgin posting from your mom’s basement.

As for the channel -who else is modifying and driving their Jeep as hard? King of Hammers - sorry, what race did you qualify for? I don’t see anything to compare - other than endless bolt-on-some-bling-bling and drive an ez trail videos - mall crawlers. Busted up Jeep - kind of proves he found some limits. This - absolutely - is the number one reason that channel is successful - she just adds some personality and looks to what traditionally is a sausage fest.

Have you managed to damage a boot?
No, but my Rubicon only has 4000 mi and only 4 serious off-road trips. To be fair, all 4 were on heavily wooded/rocky areas and I had a decent amount of branches that got stuck under the Jeep. One of them almost took out my fuel lines. So, so far so good.

Overall, I think the failure modes of CVs are more benign - specially if I keep an eye on the boots after every wheeling trip. A failed CV is unlikely to take out the Cs like a U-joint failure, which can really ruin your day.

In a Wrangler! Tuning and the aftermarket will definitely put many smiles on faces.

I don’t see it at all. She’s average at most.
I sometimes watch their videos to see what crazy obstacles they'll attempt in their Jeep.

But I'd still hit it...

I've seen two failures of the Jeep CV's - one on a Moab and the other on a Rubicon. Both on trails and both running 315's or 35's.

In both cases the failure was the inner bearing cage that cracked.

Interesting. Did they happen on a hard obstacle/ledge/or such? Any more details you can share?

I like their videos and they seem like great people. Oh and she is gorgeous, but heck I think most women are. Sorry for being male.

Not exactly sure where the pinnacle of insecurity and hubris lie, but I am fairly certain you are within striking distance of it…

Not sure what you mean? Can you elaborate?

Again, if you actually modified a car in the past, you would understand why people prefer factory engine over after market...the car is much cleaner coming from the factory than having to make mods that don't fit as nicely as out of the factory, plus it's just more money around 36k for a hemi engine swap...a little lesson for you, so cars are built at specific engineering out of the factory, so when you do a simple lift kit for example, it throws the chemistry, of how the whole car drives, out the window, unless you tweak almost every other area of the car that was affected

I think most people could do what lite Brite, does, they do nothing special, maybe it was hard when they first started...but honestly they don't pay for any upgrades or events, it's funded by sponsors and dumb fan boys, like yourself...I have a 2 post car lift in my garage too, does that make me special too? Should I make videos offering my take on the 392?

The answer is no, because nobody would care, kind of like I don't care about worthless lite brite...and secondly I have a real job instead of asking fan boys to help pay my bills, I guess he has to be nice and polite to every fan he sees in person...cuz they pay his bills! 🤣

I've never watched any car videos for for chick, that's what porn and strip clubs are for...I guess if I wanted to make a better channel than these lite Brite peeps, all I'd have to do is pay a stripper to make appearances, and it would probably get a ton of views from idiots, don't even need to say anything about cars with that marketing model 🤣

Also, most people on YouTube are fake famous, hate to break it to you! They usually pose at other people's mansions or cars and give the appearance of a life of luxury lol which honestly just doesn't appeal to me

Rather watch motor trend, car and driver, motor biscuit, autoevolution, literally any other automotive publication, quadratec, etc. Over some dumb youtube personalities! 🤣

I will say his complaints are valid. I have 450 miles on my 392 and I will say I feel like my 19 JLUR drove better. The 392 feels like its always two gears to high and in 4cyl mode. The shifts are slow and lazy just like he said. My biggest complaint is it shutting off cylinders. Sounds like its missing out all the time. With all that I would still rather have a factory 392 than a modded or swapped 3.6. The full time 4wd does not bother me, I don't notice it at all. Just my opinion take it for what it is.

Drive it in manual mode, that's the only way the car should be driven anyways with the hemi engine, in my opinion...but I've also driven manual transmissions my whole life up to this car...manual mode and performance mode, allows the hemi to breathe and be ran properly

I understand why people don't like 4auto, because you can throw more power to the rear, if it had 2h as it's normal, like all other wranglers...which then allows you to go up and over things with all the power to the rear or do fun burnouts, plus 2h is better gas mileage than 4 auto

But for daily driving, especially rainy roads at stop lights, 4 auto makes the car so much better in those situations

I completely agree it shifts lower for two purposes, one better gas mileage and two to hide from the cops...that car is the best, I do performance mode and paddle shifters and go fast as hell, then you can slow down, put it in quiet mode, and it drives like a slow sluggish v8...

honestly a simple tuner chip will fix the shift points, or a software update from jeep, but it shifts perfectly at 2500rpms, that transmission for the 392 is from the track hawk, so it's more the computer programming than anything else

Almost 40hp gain at 4000-4500rpm and over 40 in Torque. Just with a tune. Trans tuning will kill it. So many great Hemi Tuners out there and a 6.4 is a 6.4. I'll definitely be looking at Curt from Dusterhoff Tuning.

I agree. I think a tuner will fix most of my issues. They are minor. The jeep is a beast and I would do it all again even with the 9 month wait.
