I am but 2-3 years down the road. 37s and stock axles until then. Gotta save up for D60s, Rock Krawler’s 3 link long arm kit F/R, PSC hydro assist and coilovers…

Sam (SSWIM) has some on his. He is running a 2.5 super lift spacer lift.

Looks really nice....what modifications did you make and how does it run?

2.5" spacer lift. Fox 3.0s. That's it. Jeep runs like a scalded dawg. No gear change. I am amazed at how well it pulls the 40"s. No, it is not as quick as with the 33"s. But it is way snappier than I though it would be. I had contemplated going to a deeper gear, but for I use the Jeep for it is more than capable. The 4:56s in the Recon package will be very nice.

That's good to hear....as long as it can do the 5's and 6's in Moab it sounds like a gear change is not necessary, but 4:56 would be nice....I've run 37's on a 2013 Rubicon for year's with the stock 4:10 gearing with no problem....

Hey man. When you say Fox 3.0's do you mean you just replaced the shocks and left the rest the same? What total size lift are the shocks with the additional 2.5 spacers?

Did you use the same lift, 2.5 spacers to accomodate the 40's? I'm really curious how you stuffed a 40 in the spare with stock bumper. Care to elaborate?
I use a Rustys Spare tire carrier to carry my 40” tire with the stock rear bumper. And it has plenty of room.

Same here..i used the rustys carrier...its really sturdy and plenty of room. My lift is metalcloak 3.5. Slight rub in the rear at times but I plan to do some trim work to alleviate.
