I'll say this much about my mirror setup...

...sure does make taking the doors off a whole lot easier!

Now if I invest in a foot peg made for the Jeep Wrangler, I might shave off a whole other minute. Slim this whole process down to a one minute door removal/foot peg insertion.

Definitely something to add to the next Amazon purchase!

This guy works well, but it's made for motorcycles, not Jeeps.
I think you should paint the foot peg and your diff cover John Deere green to match your shackles.

I don't know if I vocalize it on here yet or not. But a while back while at my local off-road shop, I had decided that I was going to go with a metal cloak game changer 3.5 as my first lift. Now mind you I'm probably like 3 years away from even getting something like that installed, but at least in my head, I figured that when I get that lift installed, that's when I'll tie my Jeep together, green and gold. :fingerscrossed:

Is TX lax on the matter of cracked windscreen glass? PA certainly isn't. I'd get lit up in a hot minute and cited for that sort of thing. Just curious.
No laws in Texas regarding cracked windshields. Just got this inspected last month. Some inspection places will say otherwise but they are just repeating nonsense rumors that are not true.

Well, there it is. Enjoy the dispensation. 👍
I have to say the more I hear about Pennsylvania's vehicle inspections the more I would never want to live there. I mean some of it is just arbitrary and silly but at least they finally let you take the doors off I guess.

Some of the rules are a bit parochial, true enough. The matter of cracked windscreen glass that I mentioned is in fact most frequently crosswalked to law enforcement.

More to the point, having been stationed in states with lax inspection requirements, and those with no annual inspections at all, it's my view that PA's way is better. I've seen some truly craptacular vehicles that had no business being on public roadways, but for what the states in question allowed them to get away with.

Sometimes responsibility has to be forced on folks, whether they like it or not. It's usually a matter of degrees.

PA is pretty much fascist with their vehicle mandates.

Yes, aluminum wheels can’t be hammered out.

Guessing you were aired down and came down hard on something.

Hoping we get plenteeee of snow this year so I can try out my new Cooper Discoverer Rugged Treks I just bought Friday for the WK.

Sadly, I am done wheeling this year. 😥

I tried repairing it, hammering it out, bad idea. Only made it worse..

Definitely the last time I purchase a $300 wheel, beadlock or not.

Honestly I'm not even sure exactly how it happened. I'm starting to think it was a weak point to begin with..

Tomorrow I'll put on my factory wheels with the HT tires and call it a year.

I'll pick up again next year when I put some 37s on my remaining interlock wheels. And I'll make one of my factory wheels my new spare.

A while back you posted a video with lots of rigs blasting through obstacles. Hopefully you weren't doing that. Physics can be brutal.

It is funny though because I was kicking around the idea when I was driving out there yesterday of running two spares, that way if I damage one I can keep wheeling. I feel it's a safe choice to only off-road as long as you have an available spare. So if you got two spares, you can go even longer if you break something.
There's a crapload of people here in Colorado that run without a spare. That seems incredibly risky, but they do it.
