Parachute cord makes a great tourniquet in an emergency and just good for all around survival stuff.

Probably makes a good garrote also but probably illegal to say that so I didn't really say it.

I like it a lot more than the cord that was there prior, because in an emergency situation this is extremely handy. However The door now only opens about half as far.. If I do keep it on my side at all, I might try and find a way to stretch it out a little bit. If anyone has any good ideas about how to stretch out some cord, let me know?

While I was out today, it popped into my head, why have I never tried this...???

RE: Paracord
When fully saturated with water, paracord will take a set as it dries in whatever configuration you then, um, configure. Said differently, if you stretch it out when wet, it should retain at least a portion of whatever additional length is now present, after it's completely dry. This works best when the cordage is fully unraveled; I don't know how effective it would be if you simply try to pull on the door stop accessory (in its current form) after wetting it.

RE: Rear window
Be careful. The hard plastic vertical pieces on the [currently absent] side window panels work in conjunction with the rear window to keep all three windows safely secured to the vehicle. The rear window appears to be hanging loosely in the photo because that's exactly what's now occurring. You might consider drilling a few holes for the addition of zip ties as insurance.

Initially I was actually going to go with those. I found a place in South Texas that I can get some longhorns wrapped in leather ready to mount for like 120 bucks. I'd have to go pick them up, but not a bad deal. At this point my build is gone a different route. But that's not to say that longhorns won't be around sooner or later. ??
If you decide to go with horns, you can do what this guy did:

Being a Jeep, you wouldn’t have to cut half the roof off!

Seems people on the Forum don't believe me when I say this is going to be my final license plate setup. ?‍♂

That license plate light is bright as heck! I guess that's what happens when you tie it into your running lights, with 12 gauge 100% copper braided electrical wire designed to be used in a house.:like:

Got my horn situated last weekend, and put my grill back on Monday. Looks like I'll have plenty of room for the mesh I'm going to put in there. Hopefully if I can get off work early today, I will cut it to size and start painting it. And then I can get it on ideally Thursday. ;)
What the.. those mods look.. NORMAL?!?

I know I read about you having the jeep tuned, but I can’t find what tune you went with. Is this something you plan sharing in the future? I know you’re an oil tester, I am curious to see post tune results!

I was planning on doing a write-up about my tune next summer. I'm trying to build the hype right now with mystery, that way I can have one of the largest most hyped threads out there about a very simple thing that many companies do, for varying prices, and all achieve the same exact thing.

But no seriously, I was planning on doing it right up about it next summer once I have a year with it installed. At this moment I have less than 5,000 mi with this tune installed. While I am enjoying it, I would like to give a more well-rounded review.
The science is new and doesn't need as much testing as it used to! You can trust it! Look at you being all thorough and stuff, here I thought impetuous was your middle name:devil:. I am very interested in the tune and oil analysis. :like:

Cheap, but useful, in more ways than one! ;)

It's not a perfect fit, I'm still in the process of filing out the center a little bit.

The endgame is to drill a hole through the tip, and put a small orange LED, at which point this will be my side marker light in the front!
