It's one of those parts you could literally hang 5 jeeps from off a bridge. Haha.

Being on the power side of the hydraulics, it just doesn't make sense they would ever go bad.
Funny thing is my buddy just broke his pitman arm in half on a trail yesterday on his JT. That is one repair on a trail I do not want to go through again. Luckily a jeep dealership had a replacement 2 hours away. but it is one of those things that really shouldn't break.

They do break. They don't go bad, the driver breaks them usually.

Didn’t read the whole thread, but the clicking noise is likely coming from your sector shaft brace, they make that noise when they need grease.,… pull it off and see if clicking goes away……
Damn bro I got my wrangler 2024 literally just hit 16k miles having same noise did u ended up fix the Pitman Arm?

I checked 2 of my friends’ jeeps and they both had the same clicking. I chalked it up as normal.

I didn’t do anything. Because both of my friends’ jeeps had the same clicking as mine, I assume it’s normal clicking. If your steering feels fine, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
