I did a search but came up empty, or I was tired as heck and missed it. But... The nut to the shaft vector Is a little more stubborn then I am. I have PB blasted that thing yo kingdom come to no avail. I have heated it but still managed to snap a industrial extension that was my sons when he worked at Ford in Franklin. (gonna kill my butt). So... What is the magic words to remove 1 single nut? And no abba cadabra does not work!

I have an HD Extension 42mm socket and a 250# Craftsman electric impact gun. But yet the nut just laughs at me!

I can't remember which way it is threaded but are you turning the nut the right direction? Mine came of with just a long handle socket wrench.

The Milwaukee impact has 1200 ft lbs of torque, and 1600 ft lbs of nut busting torque, the craftsman is a toy in comparison…..

I have the same Milwaukee impact but when I installed my sector shaft brace I used a BigAss (trade marked) breaker bar

Yes, I do not recommend using the Mack daddy for installation, bad things can happen…🤣

I used the breaker bar to remove just out of paranoia and ignorance, then a torque wrench to install.

Milwaukee Fuel mid-torque. This is the honey I need a ride to Northern Tool part of the install.

If you use breaker bars all the time, you’ll never have an excuse. Once you have the charger and batteries, it makes it a lot easier to hide the purchases to fill out the collection.

FWIW - I did this about amonth ago with an old 400# HF impact and it had a really tough fime with it. Had to let the thing cool twice to get it loose enough!

Oh no trust me I make sure I say things to my wife when I come in from the garage like “thank god I had that $300 torque wrench, impact wrench etc or we would have had to pay the dealer a shit load of money”.

I have a Ryobi impact wrench (600#?) and a 2-ft breaker bar. I can't remember what finally loosed it but being paranoid about breaking stuff, I hit it with PB blaster two days prior and heated it up with a heat gun for a few minutes. It came off without too much trouble.
